Fly into San Salvador International Airport (SAL). There are direct flights from 11 US airports. Once at San Salvador Airport, our van and driver are waiting for you! The drive to Mizata then takes approx. 90 min.
If you have a promo code for this trip, it will be valid 14 days after you received it. But no stress - you can take advantage of the discount for a full year, as long as you lock in your trip and pay the deposit!
Mizata is a wave magnet, with consistently good conditions and swell on 360 days per year. If there’s a flat day at our home breaks, we’re happy to drive you to a nearby break with no up charge!

El Salvador’s rainy season starts in May and ends in September. If you’re used to Costa Rica rainy season, El Salvador’s is much less intense with rainfall primarily at night. Most guest even enjoy the cozy storms at night time! You will still be able to experience your trip to the fullest, and the surf is amazing during this time. El Salvador is dry from November to April.
This trip is designed for non-surfers, too! They can enjoy first class pampering in our Spa, adrenaline infused adventure excursions, oceanfront Yoga, horseback riding on the beach and hikes up to our sunset cliff. We also love turning non-surfers into surfers
